The village has its own train station with parking facilities and is within 40 minutes drive of Glasgow and Prestwick airports. It is also approximately 30 minutes from the ferries across the Firth of Clyde to Argyll and the Islands of Arran, Cumbrae and Bute. These Islands have many tourist attractions and activities.
